I am a current student in the Bachelor of Education After Degree (BEAD) program at the University. I began the program in Winter 2021 with a focus on Middle Years (grades 6 - 9) education. My background is in social work as I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 2012 and my Master's Degree in 2015. My passion for integrating social justice into the classroom is an important aspect of my identity as a future teacher.
Purpose
This website is meant to be a hub for information regarding my educational journey as I pursue my Bachelor of Education After Degree. This site encompasses resources, lesson plans, activities and general information that I have utilized thus far on my academic journey. I am hoping that this provides a brief glimpse into my past experiences while providing insight into my future approach, mindset and philosophy as a teacher.
