This website is very valuable as it provides many different types of resources across various subjects. Additionally, it has a search engine which allows you to search for resources based on the provincial curriculum and outcome you are seeking to focus on.

Facing History and Ourselves

This website provides a vast array of resources which are mostly connected to social studies. This site has tools for teachers including ideas for teaching strategies, activities, and even full lesson and unit plans. This website provided the basis for some lessons I created regarding the Black Lives Matter movement.

Classroom Resources - National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (nctm.org)

This website provides a variety of tools that focus on teaching math in the classroom. The strength of this website is that it has many ideas for lessons and activities that allow for interactive and engaging methods to teach math concepts.

10 Days of Truth (canva.com)

This is an important resource that I came across in my ECS 303 class which provides a good outline for tasks that could be utilized in the classroom to teach students about Truth and Reconciliation. Given the major revelations about unmarked graves, I believe this resource is an essential teaching opportunity for our students.

This is an important website provided by Amy Empringham, my ELNG 310 professor. This website is very helpful for Education students or new teachers and provides a ton of valuable information regarding important concepts in ELA and how to utilize them in the classroom.

Reading Rockets | Launching Young Readers

This website is another valuable resource related to engaging with the ELA curriculum. This is especially helpful for focusing on reading and provides information, insight, and tools to better teach reading in the classroom.
